” Ittadi ” means “etc” in Bengali – A language spoken by almost 200 million people in parts of Eastern India & Bangladesh ; The region I hail from. While growing up, I had noticed a compelling habit amongst the native speakers of ending a sentence with “Ittadi”. To me, it was an incomplete statement. I saw it as a lack of extra effort to include the ” unnecessary or unimportant” aspect of your speech.
Since then, I have wondered.. who decides what is unimportant or what should be left out or included in life..what if we , the wise men of this planet, decide to leave out something very important within that “Ittadi” ? Are we leaving out an energy that could have had changed our lives?..These questions and many more have led me to believe that “etc” holds the biggest potential.
“Ittadi” is a powerful term. It encompasses the not so important component that gets cropped off at the end of a sentence, an event or even life and is clubbed into a single phrase . Together, they can move the world.
It ties in with the sole purpose of my current venture “Curve Trends Marketing“
